5 things that made me happy, this week #2

Happy Sundayyyy. I’m back! Second week in a row, YAS.

I really liked writing about the good points of last week, I felt like I really had to look for them but this week I found myself taking in and noticing more of the things that made me happy throughout the  week and appreciating them, it made the week a lot better actually.

I'm keeping it short and sweet this week, so lets get into it.

1. Jhene Aiko. I managed to bag me and my friend some Jhene Aiko tickets this week, most of the European tour sold out in seconds so I was super happy that I managed to get some. I remember I used to bring her tune ‘The Worst’ to the studio to producers and be like ‘THIS. I WANT A SONG LIKE THIS’ haha. Love her.

2. Breaking Bad, Pizza. Random but it made me smile. I heard Bryan Cranston talking on the radio this week. He told the interviewer that fans turn up to the house they filmed in, throw Pizzas on the roof and leave. I don’t need to explain myself, if you’re a fan, you know.

3. Family. Today is my mums birthday and my youngest brothers birthday. Last night we had a mini party at the house which was actually really lovely, everyone had a few too many, debated veganism, laughed too much and mums phone went down the loo. What more could you want from a family party.

4. My job. I work part time for a great company, I love the people, the brand and working there, this week was a particularly good week at work and I just had a little moment of feeling happy that I go to work and actually enjoy it. I’ve had every job under the sun and have never really enjoyed any of them or hated the people or bosses I work with, but there’s something lovely about where I work now and that makes me happy.

5. Future. Being excited about the future is one of life’s greatest blessings. I really believe that. This year is the year I’ll be leaving home so all things furniture and interior design have taken over my life. Also this week I bought a rug. So I’m basically an adult now, right?

See ya next week!

Love,
Ayme x
